I was in Aarhus yesterday, where I worked all day in the studio with Ida (model), Martin (make artist) and the rest of the Salling team. After work I went to cafe Englen where I was for hours working with my computer. In the evening I went to an event to meet a friend and we enjoyed the atmosphere from the 90′s – Dr. Alban was a great entertainer and made people dance!

For the last three days I have been doing a catalogue job in Aarhus. It was nice to be back there again and to get a bit of feeling of the Aarhus spirit. Tonight I am doing a candlelight dinner for a friend and we might be hitting Tivoli later.

SPOT Festival

This very weekend you could almost hear the air kisses wooshing by as a bunch of music business people and music lovers in general gathered in Århus, Denmark for the SPOT Festival 2009. What started out as a common ground and gathering for new and exciting upcoming bands that played for a selected few, has now evolved into a small festival with all kinds of bands in every genre spread out in venues through the city! Here in lies it’s strength and it’s weakness. What to see and how to find the time for all of it? You could go for established artists such as Tim Christensen, Volbeat and Fagget Fairys or rock out to the tunes of new music in the “Way Up North” tent where The Attacks made a strong impression with their 60′s guitar riffs. A couple of my great experiences this year included Valravn where Anna Katrin entered the stage in

Aarhus Shopping

On Wednesday I had one hour to do some spotting and shopping before closing, in Denmark’s second largest city Aarhus. I used to live there, whilst taking my High school degree, so I know the town pretty well. I like the little cozy city, where one can easily walk to the best shops in town! I chose to visit the vintage shops first. I found these COLOURFUL items; I am looking forward to wear my Miami vice 90´s top in this nice pastel green shade. The blazers are always useful and can brighten up every outfit. Jewels make the look personal. I love wearing big special earrings, mixed e.g. with the silver & black necklace I found. I also like flower fabrics, so I saw a potential in these trousers, which are very comfortable to wear over the summer, because of the thin cotton fabric. The last thing I found is this sky blue Parisian hat- I can not get enough of them. I lost my curry/yellow coloured one -Do you know where I can get a new one in that colour?
