Here are some of the pictures from the TAKE OFF event at La Casita Del Mar, El Prat Beach in Barcelona. The location of the beach party was stunning with a great view over the sea. It was organized to last for 2 days. I am not used to that here in Copenhagen nightlife. Anyway the days went with taking pictures for Brazilian and Spanish VOGUE and covering the event. Beside that I got a huge challenge being a moderator for the event, where I was interviewing Dj’s and as you can see in the pictures also the General Manager of the 5 star hotel Me- Barcelona, where I had been staying.

At the interviews of the the TAKE OFF event I was questioning the Dj’s about the city, their record label, their latest tracks and releases, their most favorite city they played in and what the future holds for them. Some of the Dj’s that I interviewed were Layo & Bushwacka (UK), Audiofly (SP), M.A.N.D.Y (GR), Matthias Tanzmann (GR), Lulu Rouge (DK) and Valentin Huedo (SP).

DANISH pool party! Saturday “off Sonar” I was together with Danish friends at the “DANISH ENTOURAGE” party at the rooftop of B- Hotel, Gran via 389-391. There was a nice atmosphere and great music with some of Denmark’s best DJ’s; Trentemøller, Ink & Needle, Thomas Barfod & Fredski, Martin Decara, Patrick Batemann and Blagger. People came in cool summer outfits, played around in the pool, and made fake tatooes on each-other!

At 23.00 when the party ended some people went further to other parties. We went to club WIP, where the record label Get physical had a party. Here we were listening to HEIDI, who also is signed with them. She made the dance floor rock! 

In the first pictures you see Katja, who looked great in her vintage outfit- her bag was very unique and very special with horse hair, I think!? 

Cecilie was wearing t-shirt from Topshop, skirt from Acne, boots from Marni. Her handbag was vintage.

I met up with Fie for a Coca Cola at “Eljapones & bar Lopo” in town. (Pintor Fortuny 3). Afterwards she showed me the shop BLOW, where I especially liked the creative vindow decoration. Also inside they had decorated it very nicely and I felt that I was on a little adventure. (Calle del Notariat 3).

At  the shop “Holala”  at Placa Castilla 2 you can find a mix between new stuff, like books and funiture, but mainly vintage clothes for women and men. Another shop with the same kind of things is “Hype outfits” in Tallers 73. The same owner also has also shops in Ibiza, Madrid and Paris.

I have just arrived back from Barcelona and have now more time to share some of my experiences. Like my hotel “Me Barcelona” for example: It is a brand new (approximately 1 year old) and is a trendy five star hotel in the center of Barcelona. My view from the 14th floor was amazing and everyday there was a new cool pool party below. The hotel’s concept is a modern, trendy, party hotel for young people. Me- Barcelona is located in the 22 district on Diagonal Avenue at Pere IV between the Glories Plaza and the Forum area, ME Barcelona Hotel is at the hub of Catalonia’s boldest architectural achievements and cultural landmarks. I can definitely recommend it! Me Barcelona

Calle Riera Baja is a very good street for great vintage stores. The first picture is taken in the shop called Billie Jean and this is where I found the amazing jacket you see in my older entries below. The other three shops are very interesting too and the prices are okay. I found some very special pieces from an old Opera but there of cause were more expensive.

I found this cool jacket, which I think is very special and unique. It has many styling opportunities. For example I could imagine it would be cool to different colored dresses. The picture below is actually a kind of bolero that they styled on the mannequin. I think it look great and am now on the hunt for a minidress similar to this!

This is the vintage shop, where I bought my leather shorts, purple top and hat. It is located in Carrer Del Tallers. Barcelona is great, but I am working a lot. Yesterday I was doing my first interview and now I am sitting in my hotel room preparing for the next ones.. I would rather be on the beach with my friends right now!

I love the colors and the shapes of different fruits and vegetables. It is amazing how beautiful Spanish people decorate and present their food markets, I felt like eating it all. It is good inspiration to take a walk through these markets and at the same time drink one of the fresh fruit juices for only 1 €. The marked I was at is called St. Josep La Boqueria and is a side street to Las Ramblas.

This is my newly bought vintage shopping. I am so busy and have a meeting in half an hour, so I gotta run. Today I am checking into the hotel, where we also tonight are having a huge VIP party. I have a long day in front of me and it is so HOT here, puhhh! Have a great sunny day.
