I spotted beautiful Fie in her DIY outfit. She is obsessed with studs like many of us are and has therefor made a cool pair of studded jeans shorts, ( i love the length). Her bag is made for her blog, called Stop Stealing My Look and her shoes are from Notabene in Copenhagen.

Yesterday we walked to “las Ramblas”, a part of the city, where we ate at a very nice vegetarian place. After we went to this bar called “Cassette”, where they have the best mojitios in town. We tried the one and it was amazing. The bar is also very cosy inside so go have a look – the bar is located in de L’Est street nou de la rambla.

Today I arrived in Barcelona, where I directly went to my friend Joel’s place. He lives in a cool old factory building. I will be living here the next two days until I will move to the hotel, where I will be staying whilst I work.

I met Joel in Munich some years ago, where he was playing with his band It’s Not Not. Since then we have kept contact. Also in previous years he was so nice accomodating my friends Ingrid, Elise and myself.

I spent the day at the beach and afterwards I had a little siesta – now I am ready to see Barcelona by night!

This is the flyer for the event TAKE OFF that I will be working for while I am in Barcelona. I am working as a press agent for the event and tour manager for the Danish DJ duo: Lulu Rouge. Beside that I will be trend-spotting for the Brazilian & Spain VOGUE magazine. The first days I will be finding the best shops, so I can share them with you!

RUSKI

When I look back on how my summer 2008 was, I figure it was a great summer with a lot of new and good experiences. I didn’t even graduate from my school (BEC- Design) before I got a job at SIXTY Group Scandinavia. Initially my job was to promote and organise their summer bar RUSKI placed at Monu Bar in Copenhagen. At RUSKI I was responsible for the PR and marketing, including the DJ bookings and all the digital communication. Likewise I was SIXTY´s representative at all events. So I was pretty happy for that experience!           

Roskilde Festival

I have also been to Roskilde Festival, the largest festival in Scandinavia. My first year was 2007, unfortunally it rained all week. I didn’t really care and had the funniest time ever with amazing concerts and experiences. The above pictures are from last year, when I went there with some girlfriends. I can’t wait to come to Roskilde again this year and listen to a.o. Jenny Wilson, Grace Jones, Vinnie Who, Fever Ray, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Coldplay, Oasis, Glas Vegas, Lulu Rouge, Pet Shop Boys, Giana Factory, Trentemøller, Mike Sheridan and Röyksopp. Its really worth going to!  

SONAR Festival

Last summer I went to the SONAR festival in Barcelona with Elise and Ingird. That was an awesome holiday with alot of parties, hanging out at the beach, shopping and more parties! I would love to go to SONAR again.. maybe this summer!?
