I enjoyed the glimpses of Berlin. Surprisingly they reminded me of the time I spent in Frankfurt some years ago. German cities seem to have a cleanliness which is not seen anywhere else. I was working in Frankfurt so I couldn’t get around too much while I was there but I did really enjoy my stay. Enjoyed the photos. I baby sat for your mother while I was at Cardington getting ready for my national service in the 50′s (she was the baby) Your father was my uncle and he invited me over to his married quarters while I was there.

    Hi Michael,
Thank you for your comment. I just realized that you are my mother’s cousin :) She just explained it to me, because I was a bit confused at first. It’s funny to know that you have been on my blog and you liked what you saw. I’m enjoying Berlin right now at my moms place. She sends regards. Fiona
